Bishop Roofing started after a hailstorm wrecked our parents' Cedar Park home in 2009 and three roofers in a row took the insurance money and disappeared. We started Bishop Roofing in 2010 to be the company we wished they'd had.
In May 2009 a hailstorm flattened Cedar Park. Our parents' roof was destroyed. Their insurance paid out $18,000. Three different contractors took deposits, two never showed up, and the third did the job so poorly it leaked the first time it rained.
Travis was running a small framing crew in Round Rock at the time. Cole was finishing his last year of business school at Texas State. We spent the next six months learning roofing the hard way — certifications, ride-alongs with the few honest contractors in the area, and a stack of GAF manuals taller than the coffee table.
In March 2010 we filed for an LLC, bought a used F-250, and put our first sign in the front yard of our parents' newly repaired roof. Fourteen years later, the truck is different but the rule is the same: we answer the phone, we show up when we said we would, and we don't leave until the work is done right.
— Travis & Cole Bishop
We're a 22-person company. Travis runs operations and the crews. Cole runs the business and your insurance claim. When you call, one of us picks up.
Runs the crews and walks every adjuster on every storm claim. 14 years on Texas roofs, GAF Master Elite certified, RCAT-licensed. The one on the roof.
Handles your insurance claim, scheduling, and warranty. Texas State business grad. The one on the phone. Will personally call your adjuster if anything stalls.
We've never wanted to be the biggest roofer in Texas. We want to be the one your neighbor recommends without hesitating. Here's how we got from a used F-250 to here.
These aren't just decorations — they're required maintenance. Each one we hold gets you access to better warranties and better outcomes when something needs to go right.
We've been part of Cedar Park since the day Bishop Roofing started — some of these we do because it's the right thing, some because it's just good neighborly business.
Free inspection in 48 hours. We answer the phone Monday through Saturday, 7 AM to 7 PM.
